How to remove scuff marks.

Realistically anything can cause scuff marks. Shoes, furniture, ladders, and just about any other item with a hard rubber bottom. These marks are messy and unattractive, and they appear on most types of hardwood flooring over time. Here are a few different way to remove scuff marks simply, easily and cost efficiently. A small scuff can be erased with a plain old eraser. Just rub the eraser on the scuff mark until it disappears. If you have lighter flooring try to find a white eraser because a pink one may cause residue. Another good remover is simply a tennis ball. For small smudges just attach the tennis ball too a broom stick and just rub it on the scuff mark. After you finish this the tennis ball will be dirty so try not to play with it around the house. Another option is covering it in baking soda and vinegar. Wait a little but until it makes a paste and then let it sink in. Wait about 10 minutes and then rub it off with a paper towel or cloth. Lastly, you can use a regular toothbrush to take away the scuff mark. You can apply any type of toothpaste and then brush the mark in a circular motion. You can either use a toothbrush or a cloth. When you're done use a wet cloth to wipe away the excess toothpaste. Using these methods should get rid of most of your scuff marks fairly simply and easily. And remember: Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
